BADGER MAGNETICS, INC. specializes in the design and manufacture of electromagnetic products.   With our own custom design engineering staff, we can meet customer requirements for transformers, inductors, and other specialty magnetic products.

Dating back as early as 1955, Badger Magnetics has earned its position as a leader in manufacturing electromagnetic products.  Today the synergy of engineering and manufacturing talent continues between three locations with a much larger product offering to service OEMs, commercial and industrial customers. You can depend on Badger Magnetics to provide smart solutions, custom quality products, with a high level of customer service.

Badger Magnetics has renamed its operation in Colorado Springs, CO from Tranex to Badger Magnetics, Inc. This business was acquired by Badger Magnetics in June 2012 and in October 2013 the business was renamed.  This acquisition added ISO 9001:2008 certification for our customers, along with increased engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

Past acquisitions include Mag-Con Engineering, Sub-Tronics, and Nicollet Technologies all located in Minnesota and currently operate at the Lino Lakes facility.

Other acquisitions include Badger Transformer and Transformers, Inc., both located in Wisconsin and continue to operate in the Milwaukee facility.   These six companies now operate under the name of Badger Magnetics, Inc.

Badger Magnetics expanded its facility located at 7939 W. Tower Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  The ground breaking ceremony was held in November 2012.

The expansion added approximately 4,000 square feet to the existing engineering and manufacturing facility.  In conjunction with the expansion, all the office space has been renovated.   The project was completed during the first quarter of 2013.

This expansion includes a new engineering test lab designed to optimize our high voltage testing requirements.   Along with the Milwaukee facility, Badger Magnetics has operating facilities in Lino Lakes, Minnesota and in Colorado Springs, Colorado.   Badger Magnetics employs approximately 75 employees among the 3 facilities.
